Our lambing season for 2017 is now
March 18th – April 23rd.
9.30 – 4.00
Visitors are invited to come and see the lambs being born. We have 800 ewes meaning around 1,200 lambs will be being born during this time. We will also have 80 Sussex cows calving too.
We will also offer tractor rides to the top of the downs to see the animals out in the fields. Trips can be booked for groups at Lambing time, to see the lambs and calves being born and ½ hour tour* of the farm to the top of the downs.
No booking is necessary! Families can just turn up at between 9.30am & 4.00pm. Do please remember however, that ours is a working farm operation – we are not a petting farm. You will see real working farm practices in action during your visit.
Sorry no Dogs as it upsets the Ewes & Cows.
**Prices: Adults are £3 pp and children are £2 pp at lambing. Tractor rides do run when the weather is good enough – these are priced separately at £2.50 pp.
Rens Kitchen – Are back again this year.
“We will be there between 11 and 2 Monday to Friday
Weekends and the Easter holidays 10 till 3.00 but will stay later if busy.”

Many of you take pictures of our lambs during your visits and we love seeing them. So this season we are running a competition to discover the cutest lamb picture! Or just your best picture taken on our farm.
The winners will receive a free family return trip for up to 4 people.
Put your photos on our face book site Coombes farm lambing
Any pictures put on face book gives us permission to use them.
