Health and Safety

It is vital that any visitors to the farm understand that there are health and safety rules and these need to be adhered to. We are a working farm, where machinery, animals and vehicles are all moving about during the day. All visitors must be aware of this. Visitor areas are clearly marked and ‘no entry’ signs are also placed in areas where it is not safe for visitors. Please pay attention to the signs around the farm and only go to areas that are marked for visitors.

Hygiene is also of paramount importance. When visiting the lambs and our other animals please use the hand washing facilities provided. They are there to protect you from animal bacteria and our baby animals from human bacteria. More information on health and safety on farms can be found on the NFU website.
